My Summary

My Experience

I worked for an agency that provides temporary staff to nurseries so I have experience looking after children. I supervised them and interacted with the kids to help teach them how to develop basic abilities like reading and speaking. We mostly played together and I helped them eat or supervised them whilst they did it themselves. These early stages are important for kids to learn how to interact with others and how to learn and develop key skills, so it is quite rewarding to work with them in this capacity. I was also a personal tutor in college and I tutored primary to secondary school kids in Maths and English. I worked very closely with my students and after some time their work in school began improving and they became very confident with the extra help they were getting. I formed a close relationship with them so they would trust me and I could make our sessions fun and that’s when they really starting benefitting from the extra help.

My Qualifications

I have no qualifications on childminding but I do have a DBS check and experience working in nurseries.

My Availability

I am very flexible during the week and am available most hours during the day until the evening.

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
