About Me
Qualified primary teacher based in Aberdeen. Over 10 years experience since starting University in 2011 of working with children ages 4-12 both in the U.K. and internationally. I have been fortunate to have taught and lived abroad in Abu Dhabi which allowed me to further develop my skills and knowledge within primary education. I am passionate about play based learning, creative Literacy and using the outdoors to learn. In my spare time I love to bake, cook, go to yoga classes, travel and spend time with my family and friends.
My Experience
I am a fully qualified primary teacher with over ten years experience working with children aged 4-12 years old. I have significant experience in teaching the Scottish CFE curriculum and have also taught through the English Early years foundation stage (EYFS) curriculum. This has allowed me to gain experience, skills and understanding in both of these and has resulted in me specialising in Early years. I have also had the opportunity to undertake a Year leader role in reception (Primary 1) while teaching in Abu Dhabi. This allowed me to develop and strengthen our planning, assessment, transition and moderation within the year group. I have experience of working with children who have English as an additional language and also children with a wide range of additional support needs.

Sounded pleasant, made childcare booking and confirmed this by text message. Unfortunately the sitter cancelled on the day the childcare was required, we saw this 1 hour before she was due to start in the morning, couldn’t comment on childcare as didn’t show.
