About Me
My husband and I are parents to an 3.5yr old girl and we live in central Northampton.
My Requirements
My husband and I both work as freelancers in the live events industry - I am a theatre stage manager and my husband is a rigger and lighting technician for arena events.
Our work is very variable and can sometimes mean working unsociable hours (early mornings or late evenings) and we’re looking for flexible childcare/babysitters to work with us to cover these times.
Our daughter currently attends a local nursery 3 days a week. The rest of the time we are looking for someone to work with us who has a lot of flexibility and would be able to work different days and times each week as my husband's work changes from week to week and sometimes comes up at the last minute. My work is a bit more predictable and involves working a certain shift pattern of days for 3-4 weeks (Mon - Sat) then changing to a different pattern which is more afternoons and evenings.
We are good, kind, honest people and our daughter is a bright, lively and fun little girl. We’re happy and willing to discuss any creative arrangements someone might come up with to fit our needs but are really just trying to assemble a pool of traditional ‘babysitters’ who can work with us to spread the childcare load amongst a few people. ?
