In life I only ever want my children to be happy and safe as does any parent, and with this in mind I would only do for someone elses child as I would do for my own. Through the feeling of happiness and safety, children will thrive and enjoy their learning experiences
I live with my husband and 3 children who have taught me how important it is to treat them all as individuals. I am forever learning as they are forever teaching!
My Experience
Having grown up in a family of four children and having a mother who herself was a childminder, you could kind of say i was destined for a career in childcare. At the age of 18, I qualified as a Btec Nursery Nurse but began a 9 year career as a registered childminder. For the following 3 years i worked in a fantastic pre school, gaining a wealth of experience in the Early Years Foundation and I worked with some children who had special or additional needs. I've now brought all of my training and experience back to working from home with children aged 0-5 years.
At Little Explorers Childminding, I run a creative, fun environment that works closely with each family, nurturing their own wants and needs. I support the family as a 'whole', knowing that it is a team effort.
I provide a range of activities and experiences, both indoors and out. Through this we monitor their development by the use of daily diaries and observations. We share our activities/outings on social media page (with parents/guardians permissions).
If any references are required then these can be made available from families who are currently in our care or from previous families I have worked with.

My Availability
Little Explorers is open 8am- 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 5pm on Friday, term time only.
