About Me

available until January only. I am a mother of one.My 2 year old daughter would come with me to work apart from Fridays, sometimes not mon or tues too. she had hip surgery for hip dysplasia so is a little wobbly on her feet.We love being out and about or socialising and doing creative play.

My Experience

I worked with Children with disablities in a resbite centre from the age of 17 as a volunteer which is where I realised how much I enjoyed looking after people.

I was an Au pair in Australia whilst travelling.

I was a pa/nanny before travelling.

I then moved onto elderly care where I worked for the last 8 years, completing many courses and training along the way.

I have been a wrap around nanny for a 7 year old.

I am an accredited baby massage teacher.

My Qualifications

health and social care level 3 NVQ
first aid pediatrician certificate updated in September 2021. Accredited baby massage teacher.

Excellent nanny!

Ferne started with us (2021) when my then 7year old son started in a new school as we had just moved over to the UK. She helped with his homework, play dates, extra lessons and any after school clubs. Ferne is always on time and keeps to routine with snacks, dinners and bath times. Unfortunately I’m now working from home but I would definitely recommend her as my son absolutely adores her and we still keep in touch for occasional babysitting and for keeping an eye on my house when I’m away.
