About Me
I am a 60 years old Spanish woman. I am passionate about caring for children of all ages and have had lots of personal and professional experience. I enjoy spending time with children and love to watch them grow and develop at all stages.
I believe children learn and develop creativity by exploring their surroundings and having new experiences indoor and outdoors. I like to provide children with a varied and interesting selection of activities to promote physical and mental development. As well I love encouraging children to learn the culture and language Spanish talking with them , reading books, singing Spanish songs and making fun crafts.
Healthy and varied diet is important to the development of children, and as a keen cook and I am always happy to pass on my skills and involve children in the process. I am very keen to cook from scratch and batch cook to ensure there are homemade options for days where time does not allow for a fresh made meal. I like to be organised and prepared and am happy to help with all aspects of care.
I like to take a gentle approach when it comes to routines and always consult with parents about their opinion before beginning any changes. I believe manners are essential for all children from a young age and enjoying helping children learn, develop and grow.
My goal is to offer a loving and caring environment in which the children can develop at their own pace and flourish.
My Experience
I have been working as nanny live in and live out for more than 20 years with different families in London. The children ages have ranged from birth - the age of 12. and I am a mum of 2 amazing adults.
I have been working for many years with the same families, in some cases I have been taking care of children from newborn until 8 or 6 years old, because I understand how important are for children be for a long period with the same person as career helping them in their development and maintaining as much as possible the emotional link between carer and caree.
I also support the family as much as I can, with light household duties, and babysitting.
My Qualifications
I have done different course about healthy and nutritional food for children and the impact in their development process.
I did a course about the prosocial and socio-emotional knowledge and development in children from babies to 6 years old.
I have de DBS actualized, first Aid course and drive license.
