Hello! My name is Hannah and I am an American fashion and culture journalist in Hackney. My creative background in arts helps with babysitting a lot, as I love coming up with new ideas for activities to keep the kids entertained and having fun. I also love cooking, am tidy, and am great with animals, as I grew up with three dogs and a cat! My Experience
I have spent the past seven years as a babysitter and I love it! I am organised, responsible, optimistic and friendly. My most recent childcare job was nannying an adorable 5-year-old, but I have experience caring for children all ages, including a 5 month old, an energetic family of six children, and twins. I also have previously worked as a teaching assistant in a Montessori preschool where I cared for the children, assisted in lessons, and led activities. Otherwise, my sister has a 6-month-old daughter who I adore taking care of when I'm home!
My Qualifications
I attended a babysitting certification course at Emerson Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts where I learned proper babysitting skills and safety training. Besides what I have learned through my 8+ years of first hand babysitting and nannying experience, my training as a Montessori preschool teacher guides my babysitting in a supportive and caring way.
My Availability
I am a freelance fashion and culture journalist, so I have pretty open availability at the moment as I can usually work on my articles in my own time. I occasionally do a daytime shift at a magazine, but am able to schedule it around nannying.
