About Me
My name is Amy i’m 21 years old and currently living in Lincoln. I have been working in childcare for almost 5 years, I have worked in lots of different nursery settings, as well as being a nanny for a 9 month old little boy last summer. I started babysitting for two children whilst studying for my GCSEs aged 5 and 12. I have an enhanced DBS check, first aid trained and can drive. I have also completed various EYFS courses as well as a food hygiene course. I am currently on maternity leave with my 5 month old little boy, before that I was studying for my level 3 diploma in Early Years Education, I currently have my level 2. I am extremely passionate towards my job and have always loved working with young children! I would be looking for a nannying position, I can offer babysitting too!
My Experience
Whilst doing my GCSEs I started babysitting for a family a few times a week for children aged 5 and 12. Once I left school I began volunteering in a nursery whilst looking for a permanent job in that sector. Over the last 5 years I have worked in lots of different nursery settings with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Alongside this I worked in an after school club as part of the nursery I was working in. Whilst working in different nurseries I completed a number of EYFS courses, my first aid, safeguarding and a food hygiene course. Last summer I began nannying for a 9 month old little boy 4 days a week, I loved planning lots of different sensory activities both indoors and outdoors! Before going on maternity leave I was completing my level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education.
My Qualifications
I am educated to GCSE level, I then completed my maths qualification alongside my level 2 diploma in Early Years Educator. Whilst completing my childcare qualifications I gained my first aid qualification. I have done lots of EYFS courses, safeguarding and food hygiene. I have been working on my level 3 Diploma for the past year.
My Availability
I am available anytime throughout the week Monday to Friday and possible times during the weekend if needed.
