About Me
Hello, my name is Izzy. I have just finished studying Psychology of Mental Health (Msc) at The University of Edinburgh and hope to continue my education to work as a child psychologist. My future goals reflect my desires to promote wellbeing in children - keeping them safe and happy!
During my studies I worked part time as a teaching assistant at SEN schools in Bristol - working with children from year 1 - year 11. I have also nannied for various families, mainly for toddlers and younger children up to the ages of 4.
I love the outdoors and enjoy spending time in nature which I like to encourage in children & I am also very into art and creative play with children of all ages.
My Experience
I was a teaching assistant for 6 months, on a supply basis for teaching personnel, mainly working with SEN children in a specific department or SEN schools - working with children who have a wide range of disabilities. I have taught children aged 4-16.
I have extensive experience caring for individual children ( and siblings) aged 1-6, including picking up from school, night time routines, nappy changing, fun activities, feeding.

Alevels: A* Maths, A* Business, B English
BA English Literature 2:1
MSc Psychology of Mental Health Distinction
