About Me
I am a fully qualified and Ofsted-registered childminder, and I received a ‘Good’ rating in my first graded inspection in early November 2024. I also hold Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
My family and I live in Ruislip, where I work from my home alongside my husband and our 6-year-old son. We are located just a 10-minute walk from Ruislip High Street, with West Ruislip and Ruislip Stations around 15 minutes away. I also provide wrap-around care for children attending Whiteheath Infant and Nursery School, which is an 8-minute walk from our setting.
My childcare setting offers a home-from-home environment, making use of our house, a large dedicated playroom, and a spacious garden. I believe that children learn best through play, which is at the heart of everything we do
My Experience
I have over 16 years of experience in the early years sector, having worked in a variety of roles including Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Manager, and Early Years Teacher. My passion lies in providing high-quality play-based experiences that support each child’s growth, development, and love for learning.
I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment where children feel confident to explore and discover through play. My setting includes a spacious playroom and a large garden, both of which are accessible daily to encourage active learning. I also take children out into the local community, offering them opportunities to learn about the world around them in meaningful and real-life ways.
I hold an enhanced DBS check and am trained in paediatric first aid, safeguarding, and food hygiene.
I accept tax-free childcare and offer the government-funded 30 hours of early education and childcare for eligible families, starting from 9 months of age.
