About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with two of my own children who love meeting new kids to play with at our house. I offer a range healthy meals and am experienced with fussy eaters! I run a welcoming and friendly setting with plenty of activities.
My Experience
I have been Ofsted registered for the last 4 years and additionally am qualified to degree level in English literature and hold a counselling certificate. I have looked after a range of children who have all been very happy in my setting.
* I also have extensive experience in dealing with food and other allergies*
My Qualifications
Childmindinguk Ofsted training course, safeguarding children and designated lead, full paediatric first aid, food hygiene
*I was inspected by Ofsted during a break from childminding with no children in my care at the time. The outcome from an inspection with no children on the roll is either Met or Not Met rather than the usual grades.*

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
£25 package for 3 hours after school care plus meals and including morning drop off.
£7 per hour otherwise.

Jo has been looking after my 5yr old son from January 2024 and he is so happy and I am always at ease knowing he is in good hands with her and her family.
She is very communicative and recently had an emergency when my child had an allergic reaction to something at school - Jo stepped in an was an absolute lifesaver!

My three sons, aged 2, 5 and 7 were wonderfully cared for by Jo Costerton. They were always excited and happy to go to Jo's, and more often than not would not want to leave when it was time to come home! Jo always provided a fun, stimulating and welcoming environment for all the children, taking care to include activities that appealed to each of their individual interests.
Jo is incredibly organised, and as well as having all the relevent policy documents, she kept detailed track of my toddler's progress in all areas of the Early Years curriculum, frequently sharing his learning and achievements with me. Jo would always provide healthy snacks and ensured the children got lots of exercise each day with plenty of outdoor play.
Jo always provided a wide variety of activities and games for the children, with lots of arts, crafts and messy play as well. She regularly took the children to parks, playgroups and on other fun excursions which the children loved. I particularly valued all the captioned photos Jo would provide each day so I could see what the children were up to.
Jo is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and I really valued her personalised approach. I was quite anxious to return to work after having my third child over lockdown, and Jo really supported my transition back to work and made the whole thing so much easier. I would highly recommend Jo as a childminder, and cannot praise her enough for her loving and kind care of my children. The boys still regularly talk about her and how they hope to be cared for by her again.
