My Requirements

We are looking for a nanny to help look after our young boys and join our busy home to start ASAP to work Wednesdays and Thursdays, with the potential for increasing to include Fridays. (I don't work Mondays or Tuesdays and my husband works from home on Fridays).

We have a 4.5 year old son at school locally and a 3 year old who currently does a mix of pre-school and nursery, as well as 2 cats, and have currently been juggling with a mix of after school clubs and nursery. My husband is about to start a new job with longer hours commuting to London, and I work at the John Radcliffe Hospital so we need more help to make things work.

We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic person who has experience looking after young kids, either in a nursery setting or as a nanny previously, and is able to work early in the morning and later in the evening due to our long hours and commute, but with flexibility over hours during the daytime, so could potentially work alongside another part-time job if desired.

They need to have a clean driving license and be DBS checked.

Due to our hours, we ideally need someone who can help in the morning before school from around 7am to get the boys up and dressed, give breakfast, and drop them off at school. There may be some flexibility on the start time if this is too early.
Then to pick them up from school, help with help with afternoon activities, prepare an evening meal, and do bath and sometimes do bedtime if we get held up.

Occasionally there may be a later finish if we get held up at work so some flexibility would be great. We would be keen for some babysitting in the evening from time to time too.

We could offer additional hours if someone is happy and up for helping around the house a bit too e.g. general tidying, dishwasher, laundry, and cooking healthy meals for the children including batch cooking, option for cleaning although do currently have a cleaner.

We have some flexibility on hours. Options would be:
- Wrap around care Wednesdays and Thursdays working 4-8 hours a day:
- before school from 7am to 9/9.30am (or could combine with breakfast club at 8am if needed), then either 3-7pm or 5/5.30 - 7pm. Potential to extend the hours with additional housekeeping role
- 7am-7pm Wednesdays and Thursdays: some hours doing house-keeping role whilst younger son attends pre-school for some sessions during the week e.g. half days only. Around 24 hours/week

There may then be the opportunity to increase hours in the future to 3 days a week, or include some Fridays.
