About Me
I am a holistic practitioner and believe in teaching children the skills they need to thrive but in a way that is specifically catered to them. I offer trauma-informed teaching and I believe the best way to teach children is by engaging them in things that bring them joy.
My Experience
At present I currently work in two positions, the first is on an NHS contract as a Mental Health Recovery Worker and in this position I deal with crisis situations with the goal of preserving life. In my second position, I home school children who have had to leave mainstream education due to difficulties with their mental health or with SEND (typically neurodivergence).
My Qualifications
I have a degree in education and I am currently working towards an additional degree in psychology with counselling. I have various certificates for teaching including but not limited to autism awareness, dyslexia awareness, teaching phonics 1 and 2, teaching internet safety and awareness, mindfulness in the classroom and safeguarding young people.
My Availability
My availability will depend on how many families would like my support. At the moment, I am currently working 50 hours per week but this could change should I see significant interest here.

From the minute Eden walked in she put my mind at rest about leaving my three children. She is professional and polite but most importantly caring and nurturing. The children liked her immediately and were happy to have story time and be tucked in by Eden. I would highly recommend her to anyone thinking of having a babysitter.
