About Me
Having recently relocated to Colchester, we're hoping to welcome a lovely nanny to join our family, caring for our twin girls age three. We are considering both live-out and live-in options. We are looking for three days a week, Thursday is a must but the other two days can be discussed and agreed upon. The live in position will be full time.
Start date October 2024.
About Us:
Both parents work full-time, with a hybrid work schedule. The nanny role offers a blend of shared and sole charge responsibilities. At least one parent will always be at home, accessible for any support.
Our twins have a structured routine, but we value insights and contributions from our nanny to collaboratively ensure their best care.

• Proactive, dependable, punctual and affectionate.
• Enthusiastic about children’s development and well-being.
• Non-smoker (including vaping)
Job Responsibilities:
• Comprehensive care for the twins.
• Assist with dressing and diaper changes.
• Engage in reading sessions.
• Conduct age-appropriate arts and crafts activities.
• Teach key life skills: sharing, taking turns, and etiquette.
• Plan outings: parks, playgroups, playground visits.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas.
• Additional tasks upon mutual agreement.
Job Details:
• Location: Colchester, Highwoods
• Experience: Minimum 1 year, preferably with toddlers and children aged 3+.
• Qualifications: Recognized childcare certification.
• Schedule:
o Live-out: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9 to 5 ( there is some flexibility around the hours but not on Thursday as I travel into London for work).
o Live-In: full time, comfortable en-suite double bedroom provided.
• Pets: None.
• Driving: Beneficial, but not mandatory.
• Start Date: October 2024.
Requirements:
• Valid enhanced DBS.
• A 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 readily contactable references.
