My Requirements

The Role:

Location: Chalfont St. Giles, Bucks

Driver: Yes. There will be use of a family car or a second run-around car. Our 6y/o attends a school in the local village - mum or dad can do the morning drop off but will need help with pick up (3pm).

Hours: 8am – 6:30pm (Monday to Friday) with the occasional 7:15am start on the odd occasion that both of us are working in the city.

The role is a permanent and full-time position (45-50 hours per week), Monday to Friday. We have some flexibility with regards to the days/hours if so wished by the nanny (for example, we could agree to 8-7pm Monday to Thursday with a half day afternoon off on Friday).

The right person would be a bubbly, communicative and proactive team player who will take the twins out to classes, museums, activities, parks and playdates etc and who will organise and plan fun and educational activities at home where the children learn their numbers/vocabulary through play so they are ready and prepared for when they start Reception. Other duties will be providing the children with healthy meals, helping with bedtime, doing their laundry and making sure their bedrooms and play areas stay tidy and organised etc.

We would love for someone to join as a member of our family and for us to work together as needed – for example, as I work from home, we’d be happy (work permitting) to do occasional nursery pick-up if e.g. the nanny is running late from an activity/twins are napping etc – as we believe that team-work works both ways.
