About Me
I am 27 years old, born and raised in London, borough of Islington. 2019 BA Criminology with Psychology graduate. I am bilingual; I can speak, read and write in English and Turkish fluently. I am currently learning Spanish (self-taught). I am an enormous animal lover and love doing what I enjoy most which is working with children and animals. Alongside, volunteering with dogs. I love music, I use to play the violin and piano at a younger age. I enjoy part taking in sports and activities, such as; tennis, swimming, gym, traditional folk dancing, self-defence (martial arts – very recently), drawing, arts and crafts and baking. Along with nanny duties, I will arrange fun sportive curriculums which your children will enjoy as I know how energetic, playful and active children can be at a young age. Children have endless energy as do I!
My Experience
I have a great understanding and experience in working with children including special needs and I have been tutoring Mathematics and English to children ages 6-16 since 2014. I have had terrific relationships with all of the families and kids with whom I’ve worked with and my aim was to encourage and assist with learning and development, supporting parents with one-to-one care of the child. Assisting with the setting up of toys and play activities. Ensuring the child has a safe and happy environment to play. Liaising with the family to establish the needs, abilities and levels of child to ensure the correct measures of care provided. Developing a specialised curriculum for students with special needs within my district that focused on the educational and social/emotional needs of students with lower cognitive abilities academically. I would be more than happy to share my own knowledge and educate children in helping them gain confidence within them self in there early years to help them build for the future.
