Part-Time Nanny/House Help Wanted (Starting September 2025)
Hi, I’m Vashma, and I’m looking for a reliable, part-time nanny/house help to provide wraparound care for my 4-year-old (soon to be in Reception).
Role Details:
• 2–3 hours/day, Monday–Friday
• School pick-up (less than a 5-minute walk)
• After-school snack, bath, and light homework help
• Basic household tasks: laundry, dishwasher, prepping school bag, nursery tidying, ad-hoc mother’s help (this part is important, I need someone flexible enough to help with some chores that aren’t strictly childcare related please).
Ideal Candidate:
• Gentle yet assertive, with a focus on routine
• Proactive and able to take initiative without constant direction
• Encourages autonomy and sets clear boundaries
What’s Not Needed:
• Over-coddling or micromanagement
• Hesitation in setting boundaries
• Excessive guidance—this is a hands-on role requiring independence

My Requirements
We need someone who can guide our daughter through her afternoon routine. This includes ensuring her safety while fostering her independence. The ideal person will confidently manage routine tasks and light household chores without needing constant direction.
As we work from home, we value someone autonomous who won’t interrupt unless needed—able to keep things running smoothly in the background while supporting our family’s needs. :)
