About Me
Nanny Needed – Fulham (Start August/September)
Long-term role with a warm and welcoming family
We are a family of four based in Fulham, looking for a kind, reliable and experienced nanny to join us from August/September. We have two lovely daughters, aged 4 and 2. Our current childminder, who has been with us since our eldest was 12 months, is sadly no longer able to continue due to a change in her circumstances. We’d be keen on doing a phased transition for us all!
About the Role:
• Hours: 7.45/8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
• Start Date: Early September 2025
• Location: Fulham, London
• Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
• Additional Hours: Occasional evening babysitting available if desired
Responsibilities:
• Morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up for our 4-year-old, who starts school in September (school is approx. 25-minute walk / 10-minute cycle or drive – we may provide an electric bucket bike)
• Full-day care for our 2-year-old, including:
o Outings to local parks, playgrounds, playgroups, and swimming (if you're comfortable)
o Engaging play and age-appropriate developmental activities
o Cooking and eating together healthy meals – both girls enjoy a variety of healthy foods
• Supporting the 4-year-old with her transition to school, offering warmth and emotional reassurance
• Tidying up children’s areas and toys at the end of the day (note: we have a cleaner once a week)
• Organising occasional play dates
About Our Family:
• Our daughters are active, curious, kind and fun-loving. They enjoy being outside, swimming, scooting/cycling, music, books and imaginative play.
• Our eldest can be a little anxious and finds transitions challenging, so we are looking for someone who is calm, supportive and nurturing to help her thrive during this next chapter.
• We are organised and value routine, but also love fun and creativity.
• Both parents work – one in the charity sector and one as a public sector consultant. We each work from home a couple of days a week.
About You:
• Warm, caring and emotionally attuned
• Proactive and confident with young children
• Reliable and experienced, with strong references
• Enjoys cooking and can prepare healthy meals for the children
• Comfortable cycling an electric bike and/or driving (driving licence preferred but not essential)
• DBS checked
How to Apply:
If this sounds like the right fit for you, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch with your CV, references, and any questions you may have.
