About Me
I am an enthusiastic, caring and attentive individual who is looking for a job that allows for me to help others, and having the opportunity to work with children would be a great privilege (and a lot of fun!). I am currently studying at King’s College London University reading Religion, Philosophy and Ethics BA after taking a gap year in which I worked as a Care Assistant at Aarandale Manor Luxury Care Home. After having worked in a busy restaurant in the beginning of this year, I am looking for a more flexible and more personal job which merges well with my studies. I live in Mill Hill East but I am willing to commute if necessary. I also have a driving license and car. I have my basic and enhanced DBS check and I have a basic knowledge of first aid. I would love to be able to positively impact a child(s) and family's life!
My Experience
Although I do not have professional experience as a babysitter, I gained experience working with children during my time volunteering at a local church. My primary role was to provide a nurturing environment to children attending the Sunday sessions through engaging the participants in fun activities whilst also maintaining a safe environment. I was accompanied by adult supervisors, though they often left me in charge of the children. The Sunday sessions' attendance changed weekly but on average I looked after 6 young members per week. My goal is to gain more experience!
