I have years of training and additional certificates in , Promoting Positive Behaviour , Childhood ACES , Special Educational Needs (SEN), First Aid and also DBS checked (Oct 2024) . I have provided care for children from the ages of 8 weeks – 5 years of age
My Experience
I am currently a Family Early help practitioner. I support families to overcome challenges and strengthen relationships using a systemic approach.
I previously worked as a full time nanny in the UK and in the USA responsible for the welfare of two children.
From April 2017-April 2018 I was an Au Pair in the USA – state of Massachusetts. I lived in with a wonderful family and cared for two children (8 months and 4 years of age)
I have also cared for a baby of 8 weeks as a ad hoc nanny.
I like to use the gentle nannying approach and I’m an advocate for giving children choices and options and ultimately working with patience and gentleness .
Prior to being nanny I was a nursery practitioner and the acting deputy manager of nursery.
I have 11 years experience of working with new born babies to teenagers , most importantly I love what I do .
