Me and my partner have a little boy aged almost 2.5.
My partner is a doctor in the A&E and I am - a physician associate working in Norwich. We have 2 lovely childminders that share the care but we need wraparound care to and from the childminders’ when no one is home. We urgently need help this Friday and next week, and then long term from September.
My Requirements
We urgently need help this Friday and next week, and then long term from September. We need someone calm and compassionate and quick to soothe rather than condemn any upset because we believe in gentle parenting - explaining why something must/must not be done and moving the child away from a situation where they’re doing something they shouldn’t, naming and l validating the feeling of anger or disappointment and having a cuddle then moving on to something else - rather than using punishments.
I am checking that I am interested in special needs experience because although my child doesn’t have any diagnosed illness, he has a communication delay and is being investigated for it.
I am selecting morning and evening weekdays because those are the times when we end up stuck for childcare. It would be drop off / pickup between childminder’s and our house and we’re more than happy to pay extra for fuel.
