About Me
My name is Rachel, I am a caring, patient, fun and creative individual. I am student at the Fashion Retail Academy on a Fashion & Retail course and would love to find work as a nanny or babysitter outside of my studies. I have worked for the last two and a half years in retail and babysitting, the latter of which I have thoroughly enjoyed and would like to continue to do on a more regular basis.
My Experience
My primary experience has been as a nanny/babysitter to a nearby family, taking care of their now five-year-old daughter and helping out over the past few months as they have just had a second child. My duties include school pickups two to three times a week, occasional evening babysitting, weekend and half term babysitting. On school pickups I take her home and prepare food, assist with homework, bath time and bedtime. Over the half term breaks I plan trips to museums and galleries, playgroups, playgrounds and find various activities based on whats on in the area such as funfairs, etc. Down to their new child they require a full-time nanny which unfortunately I cannot fulfil down to my studies. I would love to find a similar role with a family that I can get to know well and work with long term which.
My Qualifications
I am happy to obtain a DBS check and First Aid Training if required.
My Availability
I study on campus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, leaving Monday, Thursday, Friday and the weekend available.
