Happy Place Child Care is a service offering lots of exciting opportunities for children from birth onwards. I am an experienced teacher in key stage 1 and 2, a SENCO and have worked in a school for 7 years as an assistant head teacher with 15 years teaching experience in total. My son joined Zoe at 8 months and settled in brilliantly. The first time we met, I knew he would be alright. He was comfortable with her from the very beginning and that really put us at ease. Zoe and the team are really intentional about the care they provide and exude warmth that make the kids comfortable and happy. He looked forward to going in and developed really well with the learning plans Zoe drew up each week.
Zoe communicates quickly so you are always updated about the welfare of your child. That was really important to us and made the last 16 months an absolute delight.
I would recommend her services as they cover the things parents care about when considering child care for their little ones.

My daughter has been looked after by Zoe for nearly two years now since she was 13 months old. She settled in incredibly well, and we have felt from early on as though we are leaving our daughter with family when we leave her in the care of Zoe and her assistants.
Having the experience of being a teacher, a SEN coordinator and as a mother herself, Zoe is one of the most highly qualified people you will find to look after your children. Zoe is warm, kind, fair, and reliable, with clear policies and procedures for every eventuality. She works with her two highly trained assistants to provide a safe and stimulating environment for all children in her care where the needs of the children are always put first.
The children have access to a large garden, plenty of well organised and clean toys, and various craft or sensory activities every day depending on the learning theme of the week. It is clear to us that Zoe and her assistants love their jobs, they all genuinely care for all of the children, and as a result our daughter is happy and absolutely thriving. Thank you!
