My Summary
About Me
Hello, my name is Sara!
I am an active, friendly, and compassionate individual with a genuine passion for working with children of all ages. Being the middle child in a family of three siblings had taught me the importance of patience, organisation, and attentiveness in creating a nurturing environment. I am reliable, detail-oriented, and quick to adapt to changing situations, ensuring that the children in my care receive the highest level of attention and support.
I believe that a genuine passion for childcare is essential, and I strive to bring a warm, nurturing approach to every family I work with. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, staying active and being out in nature. I am fluent in both English and Polish, which allows me to communicate effectively with diverse families. I am excited to find a welcoming, lively family with whom I can build a strong and supportive relationship.
My Experience
I have substantial experience in childcare, both within my own family and in my local community, where I have cared for children aged 2-6. I am skilled in engaging children with fun and educational activities, while also providing attentive supervision when they prefer independent play.
My background includes work experience in a primary school, where I supported children aged 5-6, and also in a specialised setting with children with special educational needs (SEN), ranging from 5-16 years old. In these roles, I was actively involved in assisting with classroom activities, ensuring the children’s safety, and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Additionally, I have newborn care experience, which includes feeding and diaper changing. More recently, I served as a nanny for nearly three years, caring for two children, one of whom I have looked after since birth. I also have some experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, having provided care to two different children with ASD.
Furthermore, I worked as a school passenger assistant, where I was responsible for the safety and comfort of children during their daily transportation to and from school, ensuring they were securely strapped in and well cared for throughout the journey.
My Qualifications
I have 8 GCSE's with grades between A-C
I have studied Health and Social Care Level 3 Extended Diploma which specifically focused on the health and social care sector, I completed the diploma with the grade Distinction*Distinction*Distinction (D*D*D)
My Availability
I would say my availability is quite flexible and I am also able to alter my availability on some occasions based on the parents' needs if necessary.
