About Me
My name is Gladys Roman-Frank and I am an Ofsted Registered childminder. I have over 10 years childminders experience looking after babies and children within my home and within a nursery environment.
I am a mother of 7 children, who are all adults and 2 live with me. I am a grandmother of 6 and help out looking after my grandchildren when I can.
My Experience
I live in a 3 bedroom house with a garden in the Bermondsey area.
Looking after children has been my passion from very early on, when I supported my mother with looking after my
younger siblings. I went on to have seven children of my own and had the time of my life nurturing and raising them up. I worked for a nursery where I teamed with other nursery Room Leaders to take care of young children during the day. Owing to my likeness for supporting people, I went into the care industry where I worked for over thirteen years, looking after vulnerable adults.
My spacious garden will provide adequate space for the children to play and experience outdoor life. The garden is child-safe and has been updated to provide a safe playing environment for the children. There is artificial grass with underlay to provide a cushioning effect for the children whilst playing on. Children are precious and require a special setting for their explorative nature.
The house has safety measures to ensure your child(ren) are kept safe and happy within the environment. Offering a safe, secure and happy setting for the children is paramount to me. I love working with children and their wellbeing, personal development and happiness are my number one priorities.
Having a good understanding of childminding, I know that I am responsible for the children in my care. All my previous work knowledge from different fields is interrelated and involved caring for/looking after other people.
MY AIM
I intend to provide a safe and homely environment for all children in my care. They will be exposed to basic life skills;
encouraged to connect with other community play groups; taken on short outdoor trips/outings (with parent's consent). My desire is to provide solid attention that will cater for the overall wellbeing of the child. This should be a home away from their home.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Fees are paid per day for a month in advance. Please see below for monthly rates (per calendar month) for year 2021:
2 days @ £505.00
3 days @ £760.00
4 days @ £1,015.00
5 days @ £1,270.00
I do not provide childcare for 1 day per week. The minimum is 2 days per week.
I also provide school pick ups, Monday to Friday, from £10.00 per hour.
