My Summary
About Me
I have 2 adult children of my own and 5 grandchildren, I live in Hailsham and would be happy to travel locally around the area. I have worked in many varied areas of childcare.
I am a fun loving Granny and Nanny with tons of energy and lovely cuddles to give.
I have cared for babies and children all of my working life. I hold a foundation degree in early years along with my level 3 diploma.
Most of all I am a natural with little ones, I love to make them laugh and ensure they get a full and varied day doing all of the things they enjoy. I am 1st aid trained and have also worked in the role of designated safeguarding lead within a nursery.
I worked as a nanny for a 15 month for over a year, they sadly moved out of the area, but then from October 2022 I moved on to working with my current family of 3, the youngest of the family has started school now so my hours have been reduced but the intention is for me to stay with the family in an adhoc capacity to fit around any other commitments I may have. I have also been lucky enough to care for a baby boy one morning weekly for the last year.
I worked within nursery settings previous to this for many years, as a qualified practitioner and later as a Manager in 2 separate settings.
I am now hoping to once again work as a nanny on a more regular basis, I love nannying as I can give your child / children lots of one to one attention. I am happy to go to groups with your little ones and go for lots of nature walks, I own a car and enjoy visiting places of interest to give them lots of new experiences and fun.
I believe a nanny position works best when valuable time is spent getting to know the family as a whole, as parents, you know your child better than anyone and the information you supply is key to me getting to know what will make your little ones feel safe and secure.
I would love the opportunity to meet and have a chat with you all.
Thank you for taking time to read this.

My Experience
I have experience in working within playgroups, nannying and nurseries.
Within nurseries I worked my way up from an assistant then a keyworker, room leader, deputy and finally a manager. I have a NNEB (level 3) and a foundation degree in early years.
My Qualifications
NNEB (level 3) Early years foundation degree. Paediatric 1st aid, designated safeguarding lead.
My Availability
I am free anytime from October and happy to work on an adhoc basis. I hope to work for 2-3 days weekly or 3-4 part days, I would consider any combination and can be flexible. If very local to me I would consider before and after school.

Di has helped look after our daughter from the age of around 9 months, right from when we first had an initial meeting with her we knew we had found the perfect person to help look after our child; she is gentle, kind, understanding, patient, and loving. She really took the time to understand our care routine for our child, listening to all our instructions and preferences for things like how to get her to sleep, her favourite toys, games etc and really understood the importance of all of this. Di showed such patience and understanding whilst our daughter adjusted to being away from us more and she took the time to look into and research games, classes and activities to do with her. I always knew I could rely on Di, she was quick to get back to me and often updated me with how their day was going, our daughter absolutely loves spending time with Di, we feel very fortunate to have found such a nurturing nanny who we can trust.

It is such an honour and privilege to work with such a wonderful and welcoming family.
From day one I felt accepted and completely comfortable, so important when introducing yourself to a little one who needs to learn to feel safe and secure within your care.
Work commitments have temporarily changed for the family at present, but I am helping out adhoc until full working hours resume.
love nanny Di xxxx
Dear all ,
It’s stressful to find a good reliable Nanny. I’m so fortunate to have found one and reviewing never felt so good.
It’s my real pleasure to refer Diane our nanny.
She has been our little boys nanny for almost a year now . I must say , she is very kind , caring, responsible, proactive and very punctual.
I never have a bad day when Di is with us.
She is extremely supportive, understood our needs and took care of our little baby so affectionately , I never had to worry about anything.
I must say Diane became part of our family. My little boy cries when she is about to go home.
Diane has not only looked after my 1yr old , also helped me if I needed any extra tiny helps with shopping for baby , tidying up etc
Di understood our needs and was always there to look after baby during evenings or weekends when ever we needed.
Di took care of baby’s healthy lunches and dinners if I was busy and everything was tidied up after .
I can keep on going about our lovely nanny , as a family we loved her work and personality. We were assured our baby is in safe hands. J
I’m fortunate to have a loving caring nanny for my precious little one.
Good luck hunting for a nanny.

I loved working with this family and enjoyed watching and supporting the dear little man to develop and thrive. It is so important for the little ones to see a close relationship between nanny and the parents and this family certainly made me feel welcome and part of their loving family.
I have many happy and cherished memories of our time together. X
