About Me
A teacher and tutor originally from Zimbabwe, I’ve been living in London for 3 years. Native English speaker who is warm, kind and caring. I am passionate about working with children of all ages, especially those with special educational needs. I aim to build a relationship with the children I tutor as I believe that this is a fundamental step to working well together as children need to feel safe and happy.
My Experience
7 years of primary school teaching and tutoring with over 10 years experience of working with children from ages 3 -13. Since moving to the UK, I have been teaching children with Autism and other related learning difficulties but also tutor mainstream children. I love tutoring children, getting to know them and what they enjoy and then tailoring the lessons to their interests so that they get the best out of the lessons. I know the UK curriculum due to having experience in KS1 and KS2 so I am able to ensure they have sound knowledge in all areas and can build confidence in their abilities.

PGCE with QTS
BA Hons
First aid training
I have also done extensive CPD training in special educational needs courses such as autism awareness, teaching children with dyslexia and managing behaviour in children with ADHD.

Due to the highly individualised sessions I provide and my experience as an SEN specialist tutor, my fees range from £75-80.
