About Me
hi my name is fran, i am 54 years old and have had full hands on experience raising my own autistic child, she is now 26 and a few years back moved out of the nest to start her own great life which has left me with a lot of spare time which has got me back into work.
so, five years ago i got back to work, i started off as a carer for the elderly, but after 2 years of that i knew my calling was to work with children having loved all the time with my own daughter through all her ages and stages in her life.
my daughter being autistic defintley had its challenges, in which i embraced and loved and missed but proud of the woman she has become what i think took me away from elderly care to childcare.
so 3 years ago i started getting into nursery work, working with children has been a great joy to me and progressing in the training and getting certified in so many aspects of the field has been very rewarding and very encouraging.
i have been very fortunate to have been able to keep my work and training going throughout the covid lockdown, which gave me a lot more responsibility as staff were scarce at times, in which it gave me a challenge which i enjoyed.
i have full hands on experience excluding my own child, with children aged from baby to preschool in my time as a nursery worker, and i am happy to care for children aged above this as well.

Fran is a friendly and professional babysitter who ensured she arrived in plenty of time to familiarise herself with our child's needs. Fran has lots of training and provides her checks and qualifications to put parents mind at ease. Fran brought her warmth and energy to meeting our child; who had a lovely time singing, dancing and playing and Fran was able to attend to all additional needs such as meals during the booking.

Francis is an absolutely fantastic babysitter, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to look after their children. We needed someone to babysit for us at extremely short notice, and we found Francis childcare.co.uk. It was the first time we would be leaving our daughter with anyone who wasn’t family and from the very first message Francis was so reassuring. She understood that we were anxious and suggested bringing her ID, Certificates and references with her on the day and it put our minds at ease. Our daughter had the BEST time from colouring, reading books, singing nursery rhymes etc. we will be using Francis again, a gem of a find!!!
