My name is Joanna.

I’m an Ofsted registered childminder.
I run a small setting next to Colindale Station having opened my doors in October 2022.
I'm passionate about working with young children and providing them with the stimulation, fun and loving care they need to thrive.
I offer a home from home childcare experience with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. I go out with children as much as possible and truly believe in the natural world being the best for mental health and physical development. We visit local parks, playgrounds, libraries and other places of interest like the RAF Museum and playgroups. I follow EYFS and send daily updates with photos. I also provide home cooked nutritious meals.
My Experience
I have extended experience with newborns and very young children.
When I was studying I worked as a nanny for over six years working for multiple families with children aged 0-8. More recently I worked with a 7 month old boy who later joined my setting.
In 2015 I had my twin girls who were premature and needed extra care. In 2020 I had another baby, a boy who loves social interactions.

Our 3 year old son is with Joanna for 2 months now. We have previous experience with other childminders since he was 1 year old and we must say Albert is really enjoying his days and activities as never before. He is always excited when arriving there and proud of himself when back home. We receive weekly menu every Sunday and reports with pictures each day. Joanna takes children to playgrounds, libraries, museums and other trips. Our son daily enjoys art, messy play, maths, phonics and other activities which are reported daily with pictures. His social skills and self esteem has greatly increased since attending Joanna’s setting. The setting is high standard well equipped with toys and outdoor play area. It is not overcrowded and very clean. We are delighted we registered our son with Joanna.

Joanna has been looking after my son for over a year now and I must say that he loves going to the setting. My son needs a lot of time to warm up to unfamiliar faces, but Joanna is very patient and passionate person. She is very caring and lovely. My son learns new things every day, very happy with his development. She provides all sorts of outdoor activities which is great. Can’t recommend Joanna enough!
