My Summary

My Experience

I have been tutoring privately on a 1-2-1 basis for 6 years and I have also tutored groups of children within school settings as part of the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) to get children back to the expected level after the pandemic. I also have 7 years experience teaching within the classroom as a full-time class teacher and have 2 years experience as a supply teacher. I have worked mainly in years 3 to 6 (7-11 year olds) but over my years teaching I have worked across the board from reception up to year 6. I have experience in all sorts of schools from state schools, private schools and a school for children with autism. I am very good at building a rapport with my students quickly and finding out what they are interested in, in order to tailor their lessons and make the lessons accessible to them. I have enjoyed successes academically, in the classroom, and within extra-curricular school activities. I finished my teacher training in 2014 where I won the ‘Head of Department Award’ and completed as an ‘Outstanding’ teacher.

My Availability

I am currently only offering tuition on a Thursday from 4pm onwards, on a Saturday and Sunday morning and on a Sunday afternoon.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £30.00 per hour

My fees include travel and all resources for sessions.
