My Experience

I began babysitting for a family with a one-year-old and a four-year-old when I was fifteen, and later became their full-time nanny during the summer when they were four and seven. This experience was incredibly enriching, and I truly treasure having had the opportunity to watch them grow and be a part of their lives. It’s a role that sparked my love for childcare, and I’d be thrilled to build a similar relationship with a new family.

As a nanny, I placed a strong emphasis on keeping the children active and engaged throughout the day. We spent lots of time outdoors - at the park or exploring museums and galleries - and when we were at home, I enjoyed coming up with creative games and activities to keep them stimulated and having fun. I was also responsible for preparing their meals, managing the evening and bedtime routine, and doing some light housekeeping.

In addition to nannying, I also worked as a maths tutor for a six-year-old girl, helping her prepare for the 7+ entrance exams with weekly hour-and-a-half sessions. I would be more than happy to help with homework or incorporate tutoring into my role as a nanny,

My Qualifications

- 6 years of babysitting experience
- Experience nannying a four and six year old full-time
- Classics degree from the University of Edinburgh (2:1)
- 10 GCSEs grade 8-9(A* equivalent)
- History of Art, Latin and Maths A-Levels grade A*
- Hospitality and retail experience
