About Me
I am married and have been for 32 years, I have 2 children of my own aged 20 and 25
I am a qualified chef so am able to cater for all the children's dietry requirements.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 19 years and I enjoy the everyday challenges that i encounter. I am ofsted registered and received "Good" on my recent inspection.
I currently run a business that caters for both full and part time care.
I do lots of activities during the week I visit dream big, toddlers, beamish, Washington wetlands any many other places and I work closely with other childminders in the area.
We visit local parks, farms, the sea side and Beamish when ever possible to enhance the children's learning.
I work from around 7am till around 5pm, but I am willing to work alongside parents as much as I can.
My Qualifications
I have a full first aid certificate, Diploma level 3 in home based childcare and a NVQ level 3 in childcare, I have attended training for basic child protection, food hygiene certificate, level 2 in catering and throughout time I will continue to update and continue my learning in various areas of childcare.
My Availability
My hours are very flexible Monday to Thursday and I am willing to work with the parents to accommodate their needs.
