Hi, I’m Emily Flochel, I have just graduated from Royal Holloway with a first class honors BSc degree in biomedical science. I am now starting my masters in bioscience entrepreneurship at UCL. I speak English, French, German and Swiss German fluently and also speak Japanese and Spanish at a semi conversational pace. I have been an avid member of the athletics team both at university and in school. I also really enjoying cooking so am more than happy to cook for the children and/or for the parents if needed :).
My Experience
I worked as a nanny for 6 weeks last summer taking care of a 6 year old boy. My tasks included preparing him breakfast, lunch and dinner, taking him to the park and the pool, picking him up and dropping him off from school, and getting him ready for bed. I have also been a babysitter for 5 years now for various different families taking care of children between the ages of 1 and 12. Having a large family I am also very good with younger babies. The last 2 years I babysat primarily for one family in egham with a 3 and 5 year old. I would come once a week to teach them German and then depending on the parents schedule I would come several more times a week for regular babysitting. I also occasionally did overnight / weekend babysitting for them which went very smoothly and brought me even closer to the kids which I loved.
My Qualifications
I have a high school degree, I studied at an international school in Switzerland and did the IB. I achieved a high first in my bachelors degree and intend to do the same for my masters.
My Availability
As a masters student my schedule varies depending on when I have labs and lectures. However, I am mostly free in the evenings and on weekends but again it depends on my schedule and work load but I try my best to make myself available whenever I am needed. I am sometimes available in the mornings or afternoons so please do not hesitate to contact me to check my availability. My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
I am flexible with my fees but as a student who is trying to support herself in london I usually tend to charge around 12£ an hour.
