About Me
My name is Laura. I really enjoy working with young children, helping them to grow and learn and be ready to start school covering the seven areas of learning of the EYFS.
We visit local children’s centres, playgroups, forest school and local parks every days where the children will be able to play with other children which will help to build their confidence and social skills.
Other activities at home will include music and movement, singing and rhymes and imaginary play. We will also do lots of preparing of food and cooking where they will learn about healthy eating, and lots of arts and craft activities including drawing, painting and messy play.

My Experience
I already care for two gorgeous little boys aged 2 years, a 1 year old, and a 8 & 9 year old after school. I have 2 amazing boys of my own age 13 & 15 years, so I am experienced with all ages :)

Homebased childcare award - NCFE Cache level 3
Early years foundation stage - Hackney learning trust
Safeguarding and child protection - Hackney learning trust
Food hygiene for childminders - Hackney learning trust
Experience and training in focus on SEND - Nasen

My Availability
I’ve got a space for Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday starting at the beginning of May and I have two spaces for after school children available. Pick up from St John of Jerusalem & Orchard primary schools in Hackney only starting straight away.

My Fees
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
I charge £10 per hour between 8am - 6pm, also offer a daily rate and sibling discount.
Pick up/drop off from St John of Jerusalem & Orchard primary schools for £12 p/hr after school care.

Laura has been taking care out of daughter since she was 10 months old. The initial settling in period was thorough and Laura kept us updated which made the process so much easier. Stella has come on leaps and bounds while under Laura’s care. She’s now walking, talking and even cracking jokes. Laura regularly takes the littles out, whether it’s playgroup or park and Stella has really enjoyed socialising with other children. We’re so glad to have placed Stella in a smaller setting while so small as this means that the level of care and attention is far greater than a nursery or large childminding setting. We’ll be sad to leave you all;

Laura came highly recommended to me by two other parents I know. She made us feel at ease and my little girl settled well with her after only ever being looked after by myself with limited social interaction during covid. Laura keeps us informed and up to date and we know our little one is well looked after and happy with her.
