About Me
Hi i’m mirren I currently work as a senior practitioner at a private nursery 3 days per week, I have a daughter aged 9 months old and would like to offer babysitting on a Monday all day or wednesday before 11 and after 1pm. I enjoy taking my daughter to bookbug classes, swimming, parks, farms aquariums, soft play… the list goes on. In the future I plan on becoming a registered childminder at home when the time is right, however in the meantime I will be offering babysitting services through the day it will be structured as a day at nursery with the fun learning experiences, outings, routine and mealtimes. It is only me and my daughter at home no unknown adults will be present at any time your child attends my services :)
My Experience
I have had 5 years experience working in a private nursery setting I am fully qualified and a team leader of the preschool room aged 3-5, I have had experience in other rooms before moving to 3-5 I have spent significant time in the baby room, toddler room and tweenies.
I have done years of volunteering at the SPACE & Broomhouse hub with children aged 6-10, Bookbug with babies and parents and Mental health support groups.
I have been a support worker with children with additional support needs. specifically targeting educational, emotional and social development. Primary school through to high school ages.
My Qualifications
- SVQ 3 social services (children and young people) at SCQF level 7
- I am first aid trained
- I am registered with PVG and sssc
- Full UK driver’s license (own car)
- I’m a mummy :)

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
Fees differ for age and stage of each child, how long they will attend and what supplies i may need in to care for them (nappies wipes food milk etc)
