Hi there!
Level 2 childcare qualified.
I have 5 years of experience working in a day nursery (team leader), newborn experience (thanks to my daughter) and have babysat for many family and friends.
I am currently completing a degree in accounting and finance (full time) and am looking to find some suitable babysitting work to support me during my studies. I will have alternate childcare arrangements made for my own daughter.
During my years in an ofsted excellent rated day nursery I worked with children from various backgrounds including those with special education needs. I liked to use a Montessori approach in my teaching and enjoyed watching the children’s imaginations run wild during our creative play and activities. I worked with children of all ages and also have a 12 year old sister so I have experience with older children too.
I achieved a 1st in my first year of uni in a STEM subject and high gcse/ college results so am more than happy to help with homework if required. During my school years I also trained as an army cadet for 2 years including spending a week at an official training camp (featured in the Argus newspaper)
My interests aside from uni and spending time with my daughter include baking, swimming and musical theatre. I love visiting the theatre royal and dukes cinema.
I can be quite flexible with working hours.
