Hello!
My name is Alice and I love going on adventures, getting creative with crafts, cooking, baking and having fun! I am a calm person and nurture positive behaviour. I encourage problem solving and appropriate explorative play. I foster independence, providing opportunities to develop this throughout daily activities.
I recently had to relocate to mid Wales, so currently I manage the social media and website for a bookshop (a bit different from my background!). However, I have 2 days off per week and selected evenings available for babysitting/nannying for the right people!
I'm a qualified teacher, with 7+ years experience supporting children and young people with various disabilities, learning English and ranging from newborn to 25 years old. I can support neurodivergent and neurotypical children, and those with disabilities/diagnoses (please contact me to discuss this further)
Alongside my degree, I also have many qualifications including first aid, ace awareness, autism, epilepsy, thrive, food safety, fire safety, manual handling and more.
I'm a second language Welsh speaker (not fluent!), have studied French, German, Italian and Mandarin. I studied dance for 15 years and currently go rock climbing and hiking, and learning to surf! I love getting out and about with children and young adults I care for and support too.

I've nannied for two families, ages 20m and 3years, 3 years and 7 years.
I've been a teacher for a year, and graduated in 2020.
I've worked in respite and in playschemes for 5 years, including lots of SEN/ALN experience.
I have also worked in a nursery as a designated 1-1 worker and as deputy ALNCo.
Recently worked as a support worker for disabled young adults on a farm ?
