About Me
I have extensive childcare experience having been a teacher and also a nanny for many years. I have two grown up daughters, one of which has autism. I have worked in after school clubs and volunteered at a children’s dance school too.
I am a kind, caring person with a fun-loving attitude and lots of love to give. I believe very strongly that children should be nurtured and encouraged to learn through play. I love crafts and baking and the outdoors and aim to create a safe, happy environment for any child that is in my care. I am also a specialist phonics and reading teacher which I am happy to integrate into the daily routine.
I am a qualified paediatric first aider and hold a recent DBS certificate.
Please note: I have increased my hourly rate from April 2025 in line with the national minimum wage increase.
