About Me
Hello! My name is Sam and I am a 26 year old British Graphic designer, however, I have always had a strong interest in childcare. Growing up with a brother who has a severe disability has helped me develop a caring attitude and be very attentive to a child’s needs.
My Experience
My previous experience has lead me to be most suitable to look after 3-15 year olds, however, I am more than happy to look after those outside this age range. I have strong skills with caring for those with a disability, in particular autism.
My Qualifications
I have previously been an NCS leader, which is a government run scheme where I was the sole guardian for 14 teenagers over a 4 week period. This taught me invaluable communication skills, as well as knowing how to approach this age range in a way they would enjoy their experience but remain safe at all times. A DBS check and first aid training was required for this role. I am a graduate graphic designer with a very strong interest in art, something that I love to develop with children and help them to advance their artistic ability.
