About Me
Hello and welcome to Little Duckling’s childcare. I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Weston-super-Mare. I provide home based childcare for children aged around 14 months and above throughout the week, including weekends and bank holiday’s.
I have an enhanced DBS, fully insured, paediatric first aid, safeguarding children, food hygiene and other relevant qualifications. I also have a registered assistant who works alongside me during the week to help care for all the children who are here with us.
My aim is to provide a welcoming, safe and fun environment with great quality care, love and support to each child to help them learn and grow to be wonderful independent learners.
I have a large variety of age-appropriate toys, games and resources on offer as well as a large garden with plenty of play equipment which is used daily, no mater the weather.
There will also be occasions for the children to go out on outings / trips. This could be at playgroups, parks, the beach, children’s centres and other locations. We have a membership for Puxton park which is a big hit with all the children.
EYFS guidelines will be closely followed and children will be able to engage in a wide range of fun activities to make sure they get the most out of every day they spend with us at "Little Ducklings".
I also provide a free two hour settling in session to all new starters.

Shorter day: 9am - 3:30pm £44

ADDITIONAL AVAILABILITY:
- AFTER SCHOOL & SCHOOL HOLIDAY CHILDCARE (no school pick ups).
- 15 / 30 HOURS GOVERNMENT FUNDING ACCEPTED (hours will be stretched due to the setting being open all year round instead of term time only)
- TAX FREE CHILDCARE.
- CLAIM UP TO 85% CHILDCARE COSTS BACK IF YOU’RE WORKING AND CLAIMING UNIVERSAL CREDIT.
- WESTON COLLEGE FUNDED CHILDCARE ACCEPTED.
