My Summary
About Me
Hello my name is Patrycja, I am part of a two person team, and we go by the name Blossom Babies.
We have a combined experience of 16 years as both of us have been working with children for 8 years each. We have a range of childcare expenses in multiple different settings and with children of various ages, ranging from new born to early teens.
We worked within the same Private nursery together, then went onto nannying, babysitting and finally decided to take the step to become a Ofsted registered childminder.
During those years we gained a lot of experience working with children who have special educational needs (SEN).
Our homely setting has a large garden, with space for outdoor activities such as mud kitchens and sensory trays which allows them to develop their creativity.
Our main objective is real world activities. We spend most of our day outside in nature and going on outing around the local area. We also attend playgroups around once per week to allow the children to get the benefit of interacting with other children outside of our small setting.
We are based in Hanwell so we are surrounded by greenery. We have four local parks each within a 10 minute walk from our setting which we will utilises on a weekly basis.
As a little setting we are able to see the children’s benefit of reviewing 1-1 attention from the both of us which means we are able to create an amazing bond with the children.
Being in such a small group meaning we will get to know your child inside out and upside down.
We work within Early years foundation stage (EYFS) which helps us to plan activities and track the children’s milestones and development. This is the same structure that local nurseries use.
We use an app called Blossom which allows parents to log in at any time of the day and see what their child has been doing. It’s so allows parents to keep track on their child’s development and communicate with us easily.
We help to prepare children for school through a range of different activities, not only for the development but building their confidence so they feel strong and independent, ready for school.
We are also animal friendly as we have two little pets within our setting, a rabbit and a kitten. We believe this will help children to build trust with animals and gain knowledge about different animals.
Our setting offers three meals per day which include, breakfast, lunch and dinner. If your child has a dietary preference, intolerance or allergy everything will be prepared separately and catered to your child’s needs. We also provide two snacks per day in between meals to introduce lots of fruits and veggies.
We also provide nappies and wipes if you’re happy to use the brand we use. This is all included in our daily price.
We can’t wait to meet you and hopefully have you a part of our Little family here at Blossom Babies.
