About Me
Hi I am Liz, I am married with 3 children and have been a childminder for 13 years. Since having my own children my house is always filled with children having fun whether it’s my children's friends round, families visiting or helping out my friends with childcare. So childminding seems a natural job for me to pursue now that all of my children are in school.
I have a large child friendly house with lots of room to play and a large variety of toys. My garage is converted into a child friendly space for active indoor play with crash mats and swings or a mini roadway with ride-ons. I also have a large garden with a wide range of large and small play equipment. There is a good size lawn ideal for the keen footballers and an exciting barked play area with a 3 towered wooden climbing frame. I also have a mini houses, a little woodland den, mud kitchen, sandpit and lots of secret corners to build a den in. I always enjoy getting out and about with the children visiting the allotments, parks, the beach, the nature reserve to name a few. At home we love to play creatively from arts and crafts to building dens to baking cakes. With my experience energy and enthusiasm I feel I can provide excellent care for your child in a safe secure and fun environment.
My Experience
I am a mother of 3 who has been childminding for over 13 years. I run a successful OFSTED Outstanding childminding service with many happy children visiting my setting every day.
My Qualifications
I am educated to degree level. In childcare I have a CACHE Level 2 certificate in homebased childcare and a Level 3 diploma in Early years and Young People. I have Paediatric first aid training, Safeguarding training, Early Years Foundation Stage training, Food Safety Level 2. Early Language Development, ENCO training, Behaviour management.
My Availability
I am registered for childcare 24 hours a day 7 days a week. My usual hours of work are Monday to Thursday 6.30am to 5.30pm but I can be very flexible so please contact me to discuss your needs.
