I am currently living and studying a masters in Midwifery in the North East. I was previously a Doula supporting families in a wide range of areas but now want to focus more on clinical care.

My Experience
I have a lot of experience with children from my time babysitting and working in a range of nursery's in Bristol. I much prefer working one to one with a family as you can then see the development and build lasting relationships with the children, whereas in a nursery it can be very transient.
I trained to be a doula in 2019 and began to attend births alongside an NHS trained independent midwife in 2020-2021. It was an absolutely amazing experience and it taught me that we all need support with daily life. Because of this experience I have spent a lot of time around new parents, newborns and little ones and understand the very exhausting task of keeping things together. That is why it brings me a lot of joy to offer my services as a babysitter to take the pressure off families and single parents.
I am really interested in different types of schooling and have worked for the home schooling network in Spain where I offered a variety of musical workshops where I taught electric guitar, drums and bass guitar to a group of 12 year old girls.
I love cooking and making different meals as I have experience working as a chef at large events. I am fully accomplished in cleaning and tidying from my experience working as a house keeper in Australia.
I have recently completed my Basic Life Support through the university, Safeguarding for adults and children and I have a recent up to date DBS certificate.
