JeeJee was our first childminding experience and to say she set the bar high is a huge understatement. Our darling daughter started going to JeeJee when she was 6 months old, and it suddenly felt like we were taking her to stay with family. Her home is beautiful, perfectly safe and fun for little ones and her lovely children welcomed our little girl with open arms. She would be so excited when we would pull up at the house and treated JeeJees like a second home.
We were heartbroken when we had to relocate, JeeJee was very supportive in helping us find new childcare down in Somerset.
I will be forever grateful for having JeeJee and her family in our lives and I couldn’t recommended her services enough.
A real life angel!!

Simply the best

Our daughter for the last 4 months she had the most fun she ever had while being looked after Jee Jee. She was so happy to be with Jee Jee and her children, when our daughter would wake up in the morning the first thing she would say if she can go to Jee Jee's house. She will create the best environment for the kids to allow them to express themselves, have fun and be creative at same time. We moved out of the area and unfortunately we had to leave Jee Jee also otherwise our daughter would still be with her. Jee Jee gave us pictures at the end of each week with our daughter and the rest of children, pictures we will always look back at with a smile on our face. Thank you for everything Jee Jee ❤️ 💕

One of a kind 💙

Jee Jee has been childminding my son Ivar since he was 1 years old (Jan 2022). When I met Jee Jee for the initial discussion I knew she was the one for us without a second thought. Ivar was super comfortable from his settling in session and absolutely loves going to Jee Jee every day and talks about her, her family and other mindees when he is at home. He very much feels at home and at ease at her house. Which is especially evident when he wants a snack and knows exactly where to find it ! 😂

Jee Jee's house is beautiful and spacious with a big garden and abundance of learning resources and toys for children of all ages such as a theatre where the kids often put on a puppet show to role play kitchen/shop/post office, slide, cars... etc you name it, she probably has it. But what amazes me even now a year and a half later, is her endless creativity when it comes to educational play. I think her background in teaching really shines here and was one of the reasons why I thought she would be brilliant for Ivar.

I love receiving pictures and seeing what Ivar and his buddies have been getting up to and at this point I have given up trying to recreate the activities at home because Jee Jee does it bigger and better and way more fun!

Although the house has everything and more for children, Jee Jee takes the kids out to different parks, play grounds, soft plays, groups and to meet other kids. She treats Ivar like her own child and puts so much care and effort into everything she does. She has been super helpful to me too as I have tried to establish a sleeping schedule for Ivar and followed all my asks and requests around it.

In terms of Ivar's progress and development, I don't even know where to begin (without sounding biased). At 2 and a half years old he has a great vocabulary, his speech is brilliant and he is so quick to pick up new words, he is curious what everything is called and will repeat words until he gets them right. He can count to 30 with a bit of help, he knows his alphabet and phonics, he often comes home singing nursery rhymes. I wish I could take credit for this but considering he spends every day with Jee Jee I know he learnt it all from her. She spends a lot of time on expanding children's vocabulary through various activities and play as well as a repetition of numbers and letters which makes it easy to learn and remember.

I am so glad I found Jee Jee, I love her approach with kids, emphasis on kindness and how her own kids view Ivar as one of them. Ivar is always excited to see her and her children and often doesn't want to go home. Jee Jee is one of a kind and truly leads by example.

Excellent Childminder

JeeJee looked after our one year old son. From the moment we met her , JeeJee put us at ease with her kind , trustworthy professional manner. Our son learned alot of things and enjoyed his time with JeeJee. She planned activities, gave fresh cooked home made lunch and tea. The house is beautiful and abundance of garden space and playrooms with so many different toys. I am so glad we found JeeJee when we started looking for our son, she is caring , friendly and understands first time parents anxiety and works with us at each and every step. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for top quality, reliable caring for their child. She also gave us an excellent summary of Zidan’s progress. We really miss her as a family and hope to meet soon.

fantastic home from home setting

Jee Jee has been a fantasitc childminder for my son Billy. He loved going to her beautiful house and often didn't want to leave.
Days are filled with lots of fun and engaging activites, outings out whether that be local groups or the park and healthy yummy meals.
Jee Jee also emphasies being kind and loving to one another.
Billy has learnt many new words and sounds through Jee Jees teaching and everyime he came out with something new it just amazed me how quickly he picked things up that he must have learn there.
Jee Jee keeps parents up to date with everything that they get up to during the day via the daily update and always sends lots of lovely photos.

Wonderful childminder

From the moment I met Grainne, she put us at ease with her kind, trustworthy and caring manner. Her passion for caring for children is very clear to see from the offset. My daughter takes a while to warm up and this can prove challenging when searching for the right childcare. I was confident that Grainne was the right care provider and my daughter has loved going from day one. Grainne takes care of my daughter like her own.

Grainnes house is very clean, spacious, has beautiful toys and a wonderful garden with lots of outside activities. Grainne takes pride in setting up different craft activities and adapting these to suit the different children. Given Grainnes background in teaching, she is very up to date with the key stages and her activities reflect this.

Her menu's are healthy and plentiful and we receive photos and updates through the session which is lovely to see.

Finding the right childminder is hard but your little ones will be very safe and kind hands with Grainne. A fabulous childminder and I cant thank Grainne enough for everything she does!
