About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder, with over 13 years experience working in nurseries with varying ages of children from newborn to 5 years. I am also a mummy to two beautiful girls aged 3 years and 6 years, my oldest attends the local school, with my daughters now being a bit older I feel the time is now right to offer my childcare services to other children whilst caring for my own children as well and spending more time with them.
I have a very spacious play room as well as a large garden for the children to learn and explore. I will offer freshly prepared and cooked snacks and meals throughout the day.
I will provide a home from home environment for all children in my care and make them feel part of the family. I started childminding in August 2022. I am open 47 weeks a year, closing for one week at Christmas, 4 weeks annual leave a year as well as bank holidays. I will be open from 7:30am-5:30pm, I can be flexible if needed.
My Experience
I have worked in nurseries for 13 years and am level 3 qualified. I have lots of experience working with children from birth - 5 years as well as many years worth of special needs experience. Within my first nursery I became room leader in the baby room and preschool room and worked my way up to deputy manager before I left.
The last nursery I worked at, I started as baby room leader and worked my way up to Nursery manager, which helped me gain lots of knowledge of running a business as well as still being able to work in rooms with the children.

My son has been attending Pebbles for the last 9 months and right from day 1 he has settled amazingly. April keeps me up to date throughout the day on his meals/toilet trips/sleep. My son is always happy to walk through the door (and doesn't even look back when dropping him off) and is always full of smiles when picking him up.
April has also helped with potty training as this was a very tricky task for us personally to get started.
They have days out and during the nice weather, they get out in the garden as much as possible and my son always has lots to tell me at the end of each day.
Although my son will now be attending pre-school, I do plan on using Pebbles again for the before and after school care.
A huge thank you to April, you have been a huge part of his development over the last few months and hope to use you again when baby number two is ready :)
