About Me

We are a family of 5 that require a carer/childcare support in our home during the week for our 5yo daughter who has special needs due to a rare genetic disorder. Our daughter is a delight (always happy) and is easy to look after however she requires constant observation and support with her mobility, feeding and play. Some basic training around feeding will be provided by the local community nurses.

We are looking to employ somebody during the week to provide this 1:1 support around her attending school. We currently have two other long term carers that have been helping Margot before and after school but require more support to fill the gaps.

The hours needed are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school (3pm - 6.30 or 7pm)

We also have some morning shifts (helping dress and feed Margot before the school bus arrives at 8.45am) on Thursdays and Fridays (times can be negotiated).

We would also consider someone who can only support for some and not all of these days/times.

On the days worked either myself (mum) or dad will be working from home. We have another daughter who is 3 years old and a son who is 6 months old (both attend nursery).

Experience with special needs children desired but not essential.

Please get in touch to discuss further. Thanks!
