About Me
Looking for work as a Live-Out Nanny, Monday-Friday morning to late afternoon hours ideally. Can do the occasional weekends and school holidays. Looking to start work as soon as possible.
I graduated in Theatre and started my career teaching children dance and drama. I am part of a Lambeth Arts project called Demonstrate! working with children with ASD and other profound learning or physical disabilities. I am a hard working, resilient person who enjoys learning new skills everyday. I like to take each day with an open mind which helps me to prepare for every eventuality. People say that I am a naturally nurturing and a caring person who always thinks of the needs of others, this is the reason why I enjoy support work and have done so for many years. I enjoy being active, currently working as a gymnastics teacher for 10 months - 12 years. I am a qualified Level 4 Children, young people and family practitioner and have been in the care industry for the last 5 years working in the social care sector and for private clients.
My Experience
I have gained extensive experience in key working and teaching children young people with various needs in education for 10 years and in Children’s residential care for 4 and a half years with 2 years of that working on a Senior level where I was required to lead a team. I have a Level 4 as a Childrens, Young Peoples and Family practitioner alongside a level 3 in Residential Childcare. I am currently doing PA care for a G13 with learning difficulties once a month.
I also have a keen interest in dance and drama with a BA honours Degree in Theatre in Performing Arts from Middlesex University. I hope to gain more experience as I progress into a career path more suited to my passions of supporting and caring for those in need in combination with creativity.
