About Me
Hi my names Amber and I’m level 3 qualified in Child Play, Learning and Development and am mainly looking for a full time or part time nannying job, but am also open to babysitting. I have a qualification in paediatric first aid and basic advanced life support, a fully enhanced DBS, and am able to drive.
I’ve always loved working with children and have 3 years experience working with children aged 1-8 in nurseries and schools, and have also done babysitting and nannying. I’m more than happy to get involved in any type of play that the children would enjoy, whether that may be messy play or role play! I’m also handy around the house, and can help out with light housework such as tidying, hoovering or light cleaning.
I am also a first year university student studying paediatric nursing, so have basic nursing knowledge on paediatric illnesses and injuries, as well as what signs/red flags to look out for an in unwell child! Due to an injury and surgery I had, I’ll be taking a study break for the next year, which is why I’m looking to get back into nannying or babysitting!

My Experience
I have experience with nannying and babysitting children aged 1-8 and have also worked in a nursery and school for two years, whilst I was completing my level 3 childcare. I’m currently studying paediatric nursing at university, so have experience learning about child illnesses/injuries, and how to spot them. I really enjoy working and playing with children, and love planning fun activities based on the child’s age and stage of development (and according to the EYFS)! My personal favourite type of play is arts and crafts, and I love doing creative projects with little ones!
