Hi, I am Tracy Cooke and am a registered childminder based in the north of Coventry,
I am open from Monday to Thursday 7:30-5:30 though this can be discussed and I could be flexible.
I have a wide range of play resources inside and out with a large,child planned garden and plan interesting and stimulating activities specifically catered to each individual child's needs and interests.
I offer a home from home environment where the children are made to feel secure and loved and part of the family.
Every day,whatever the weather we will get out of the house to local playgroups,soft play, parks and nature walks-we are very much an ‘out and about’ setting and children thrive exploring nature and their community.
We do arts and crafts, modelling,drawing, colouring, painting, sticking and cooking we dress up, role play, dance, sing, play instruments, run around the garden and have lots of fun!
I keep parents updated daily with photos of our adventures, track childrens progress in the EYFS and regularly assess our planned activities to support and expand the children’s learning.
I am accredited so can offer the 2,3 and 4 year old's early years funding.
My Experience
I worked as a nursery nurse(deputy manager) for 11 years,caring for children from 8 weeks old to 8 years old...I'd wanted to be a childminder for years-to be my own boss and be able to offer individual care so finally took the plunge and am now in my 13th year of minding and am loving it!!
I don’t currently offer before and after school care, choosing to concentrate on my eyfs children as that is my background and passion.
I have 2 grown up children of my own aged 20 & 24, I love being around children,watching them discover the world around them and soaking it all up like little sponges!

I am now full and won’t have any availability until Sept 2027
My working hours are from 7:30-5:30 but that is open to discussion.however I only work Monday-Thursday at present.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Fees include snacks, cold lunch, drinks, toddler groups and daily activities
(I would only ask for costs towards a trip or activity if it is organised well in advance,eg our weekly gymnastics group, the zoo which we have annual membership for or a theme park)
Parents are asked to provide any formula milk, nappies, wipes.
Hourly rate:£6 per hour (6 hour minimum per day for EY children) £7 per hour for before/after school sessions or term time only contracts.

Settling in sessions: tba on interview depending on childs individual needs.

Daughter has been with tracy since oct 2020 and can honestly say she is amazing! Weekly groups, days out, aswell as helping with development and preparing them for school. Lots of time spent outdoors and so many activities to do their days are jammed pack. Tracy provides such excellent care and goes above and beyond compared to many other childminders i spoke to before finding her. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a childminder!

Tracy has looked after our daughter since 9months old and we cannot recommend her enough. Eloise has thrived whilst at Tracy’s and although she is now full time at pre-school she still gets so excited when we tell her she will go to Tracy during school holidays. Eloise is never bored, goes on plenty of walks and is free to explore the world around her which is so important for her learning. She formed strong bonds with children that attend Tracy’s setting. The teachers at preschool commented on how independent and advanced she is for her age which we think is largely thanks to Tracy’s approach and nurturing. Thank you x

Tracy looked after my daughter for a short period of time, I was gutted having to move her due to relocating. Tracy is a Wonderful Childminder caring, friendly and made sure my daughter was happy and settled every time we dropped her off. Tracy provides a large variety of activities and walks/ outings, she has a lovely outside space too for children to use.

My daughter has been with Tracey for two days a week since October 2015 and i can gladly say she is brilliant. I feel that Emily has developed so much more since attending Tracey's house. They regularly go out on trips to soft play areas and zoos, regularly take part in arts and crafts for whichever holiday is happening and i genuinely enjoy chatting to Tracey as i drop off my daughter.

My son has been with Tracy since February this year and i cant praise her enough!
My son is an ex prem born at 26 weeks, now terrible 2 so finding a childminder who could challenge him and push him developmentally to help him catch up was a must for us and Tracy certainly does this! Tracy has encouraged his speach amazingly and he has become a right chatterbox in 3 months from barely saying anything.
Unlike other childminders Tracy is always stimulating the children and making sure they have a varied day of activties. My son beems from ear to ear when in Tracys care and she has taken him in like an extention on her family. The love and compassion Tracy has for all the children is incredible and is always in contact sending her love when my son is ill.. which is allot!
Tracy is very accomodating and will always try to help out when needed.
We look forward to a fun filled future in Tracys care!

Charlie has certainly made himself at home both in my house and my heart xx
Our children have been with Tracey 3 days a week sine June 2015 and we can't fault her at all she has been excellent when I have changed jobs and unsure of work hours and did everything she could to help and work with us whilst things settled. The children love being there and often go on various trips and do lots of fun and exciting activities with Tracey and the other children she minds.
Tracey gives us daily updates and pictures of what the children have been doing so it doesn't feel as if we are missing out on anything.
All in all Tracey is a wonderful childminder who is very friendly and approachable we and the children adore her and even when looking to move home said that we had to find some where that meant we didn't have to change childminder!
