About Me

Hello, my name is Sioned and I am 22 years of age! I consider myself to be friendly and caring with a great work ethic. I am very reliable and and approach my childcare work with great enthusiasm. I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies from the University of Plymouth and a Primary (5-11) PGCE meaning that I am a qualified teacher. My degree and PGCE have provided me with a wealth of knowledge regarding the development of children and they ways in which they learn. I also have an in depth knowledge of safeguarding practices and hold a level 2 safeguarding certificate. I have a personal passion in getting outdoors and love doing this with children too. I also like to encourage creative play and love to explore this through baking, arts and crafts, toys and whatever else the children enjoy! I am extremely adaptable and have worked with children of a range of ages, also with children with additional needs. I have worked with children in early years settings, schools and after school clubs. Additionally, in being a qualified teacher I have a solid understanding of the primary curriculum and would be more than happy to put these skills to use with any children and families I work with. I also have experience babysitting a variation of different children and pride myself on the approach I bring to my childcare. As well as being sensitive and creative, I am patient and respectful to the different households I enter and the ways in which families do things. I always ensure attention to detail.
